The Phoenix opened its doors as a licensed premises in 1894, standing proudly at the junction where the Antrim Road meets the Cliftonville Road— at the heart of North Belfast.

 

Its Victorian clock marked time for those making their way through the city's northern neighbourhoods.

For generations, The Phoenix has been a meeting place—where stories were shared, spirits lifted, and friendships made. A place to pause, laugh, and enjoy the company of others.
